No time to make an extensive lunch? Then these filled low-carb lunch wraps are a godsend. You can fill the wraps with your favorite toppings, roll them up and your lunch is ready. Also ideal to take to work or as lunch on the go.
Lunch wraps with horseradish
These low-carb wraps from Spain taste super good and contain only 4.4 grams of carbohydrates each. So you can fill the wraps with your favorite toppings. We opted for a filling with horseradish, carrot, tomato, and chicken breast. Horseradish has a nice pungent taste similar to mustard and radish. We also added a little mayonnaise to make it creamy. With this filling, a wrap contains only 7.5 g of carbohydrates. In short, a quick and nutritious low-carb lunch!
You can adapt this basic recipe to your liking. If you are not a fan of horseradish, replace this with mayonnaise with herb cream cheese. You can replace the chicken breast with other (vegetarian) toppings. You can vary endlessly with it! Check out our other lunch recipes for more inspiration.
- 2 low carb chef wraps
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp horseradish
- pinch of garlic powder
- pinch of salt
- 25 gr arugula salad mix
- 30 gr carrot,jene
- 100 gr smoked chicken breast slices
- 70 gr cherry tomatoes
- For the horseradish mayonnaise, in a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, horseradish, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Spread 2 low-carb wraps with the mayonnaise and then cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Then cover the wraps with the arugula, lettuce mixture, carrot, chicken breast slices, and tomatoes. Roll up the wraps tightly. Then cut in half and serve on a plate.
- Also nice to take with you on the go, then wrap the wrap with aluminum foil. Enjoy your meal!
